Gerry Mc Kee (Bouzoukie & Guitar)

Gerry Mc Kee (Bouzoukie & Guitar)Gerry Mc Kee was born in Lisburn, Co. Antrim, before moving to Co. Clare and later to Cork city, where he became a founder member of well-known traditional band Nomos. With Nomos, he toured extensively throughout the 1990s, travelling to the US, Australia and across Europe. The band recorded two critically acclaimed albums "I Won't be Afraid Anymore" (1995) and "Set You Free" (1998).

Gerry also features on Brendan Ring's album "Troublesome Things" (2001) and Niall Vallely's "Beyond Words" (2000). He wrote and recorded a CD Rom Bouzouki Tutorial for the traditional music website, "Mad for Trad".

Gerry now lives in Conna in Co. Cork, and has been performing with The Booley House band since 2003.
