A Feast Of Traditional Irish Entertainment & Culture Featuring Song, Dance, Storytelling And Music

Ballyduff/Ballinvella/Ballysaggart Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann

Many of the members of The Booley House show are also members of the local Ballyduff/Ballinvella/Ballysaggart branch of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann. CCE is the largest group involved in the preservation and promotion of Irish traditional music, song and dance, and Ballyduff are proud to be a member of this organisation.

As a non-profit cultural movement, we aim to provide education in the Traditional Arts through our concerts classes and workshops. We are also very proactive in the organisation of events such as County and Munster Fleadh Cheoil competitions. Ballyduff Comhaltas prides itself in its high level of fund-raising efforts, which in the past have led to such worthy projects as the purchase of €25,000 worth of expensive musical instruments. These instruments are now available for rent to our members, which we have found to be hugely beneficial as students begin their classes and develop their skills.

How To Join
Memberships are available at a cost of €20 for families, €12 for adults, and €6 for under-18 children. This entitles you to register for discounted classes, rent instruments, hire costumes and uniforms, and enter national competition. Contact us for more information.
